  • Review of "Herring & Associates Inc" at Wenatchee

    We had a very poor experience with Herring when we moved here. They took our applications and money but I was unaware they kept a pool of applicants to choose from. We were told no with no good reason why. I felt very misled. I would not have paid the 100 dollars (+/-, can't remember now) had I known this. Then we were told we qualified for other things they had listed and could put our paid application toward those, but they were all nasty places, mostly apartments. The only thing I was remotely interested in was that house. They had hardly any homes to begin with. We are Landlords to units on the west side- honest ones. We take apps and money (only what it costs for the credit/background checks) but we ONLY cash the money for the first qualified applicant and then no one else's. I was left feeling that Herring wasn't very honest in their practices. Luckily we found a great house from a Private Homeowner, but I think its sad that I am left feeling like I can't recommend a local business. I have heard so many other people with similar stories from Herring that I felt maybe writing this might help them see that they should be more clear about their process. I will say the person that showed the place and that we dealt with was pretty nice and met us when needed to show the place since we were coming from the west side.

    We are so thankful to be able to send our children to a place where students are encouraged to be kind to each other, to love to learn, to think carefully and speak well. We thank God for the teachers and staff who love our kids with gentle guidance and joyful praise. It is a gift to know that every day, in every class the Bible is held up as the standard for Truth, Goodness and Beauty. Our three sons spend their school hours each day with students from other families who share our values and beliefs. This is the ideal environment for focus on excellent learning. I love to hear the students singing the Psalms and Hymns every morning as well.
